Summer Workshop Posters

This July, Jethaniel Peterka and I ran our fourth year of the Drawing Intensive and second year of the Painting Intensive at Gage Academy of Art. I'll have more on the excellent work our students did, and why I work with teens in a future post. For now, I want to share a few of the posters I made over the course of the month:
"I KNOW you'd rather draw with a pencil."

"I KNOW you'd rather draw with a pencil. That sounds like a personal problem."

From the Painting Intensive: If you fail to have faith in relativity, the Limited palette will do NOTHING for you.

This studio runs on burritos and dogma.

A classic from Fred Rodger. My studio runs on burritos and dogma.

"Know this, filthy mortals." Seriously, running an oil painting studio with 15 beginners requires an almost Old Testament devotion to cleanliness.
